UCF Coach Scott Frost Thanks Gus Malzahn’s Recruiting Talent

During the recent Big 12 home opener against the TCU Horned Frogs, the UCF Knights secured a victory heavily fueled by athletes brought in by former head coach Gus Malzahn. Standouts included Braeden Marshall starting the defensive dominance with an early fumble recovery, followed by Taevion Swint opening the scoring with a touchdown run.

Additional key contributions came from Caden Piening catching a second-quarter score and Demari Henderson dropping quarterback Jaden Craig for a crucial sack. While Malzahn's overall record with the program experienced a dip following their conference transition, his strong recruitment efforts successfully channeled multiple talents toward professional levels, exemplified by NFL running back RJ Harvey.
