Twins part ways with pitching coaches Maki, Ramirez and trainer Kirkman

Minnesota has opted to shake up its staff by parting ways with pitching coach Pete Maki, assistant pitching coach Luis Ramirez, and assistant athletic trainer Jason Kirkman ahead of the 2027 campaign. Maki had spent nine seasons within the organization, taking over as pitching coach midway through the 2022 schedule.

Ramirez accumulated twenty-one total years with the club, spending his final five seasons in the assistant pitching role. Kirkman departs after completing seven years in the organization, including five seasons as an assistant athletic trainer.
