Trent: I always believed I would play for England again

Trent Alexander-Arnold expressed his enduring confidence in representing his country after returning to the starting lineup for a two-goal victory against ten-man Czech Republic. The defender last featured in a qualifier back in June 2025 and missed out on the summer World Cup selection.

During the fixture, the full-back delivered the opening assist for teammate Anthony Gordon before Harry Kane secured the second goal. Head coach Thomas Tuchel praised the quality of the pass and noted the tactical adjustments that aided the team's performance.
