Kansas City opened their 2026 campaign in commanding fashion on Monday night, cruising past the Denver Broncos 31-10. During the Week 1 rout, tight end Travis Kelce delivered a highlight-reel moment by hauling in a 59-yard reception from quarterback Patrick Mahomes during the third quarter.

That massive catch pushed Kelce ahead of Jason Witten on the NFL's career receiving yardage leaderboard for tight ends. Kelce achieved the historic milestone with his family and Taylor Swift in attendance, as he and head coach Andy Reid embarked on their 14th season together with the franchise.
