Travis Etienne injury update as Saints RB injures leg, exits Week 3 game

New Orleans Saints running back Travis Etienne suffered an apparent leg injury during the third quarter of his team's Week 3 matchup. The marquee offseason addition pulled up near the boundary following a productive 16-yard rush, immediately reaching for his upper left leg before departing for the locker room accompanied by medical staff.

Prior to his exit, Etienne paced the Saints ground game with 57 rushing yards across 13 carries. Having previously durable durability with 17 appearances for the Jacksonville Jaguars during the prior season, his current status remains undetermined as team officials evaluate the issue.
