Toprak Razgatlioglu to miss remainder of MotoGP season

Toprak Razgatlioglu will sit out the rest of the 2026 MotoGP campaign following a shoulder dislocation sustained during practice for the Indonesian Grand Prix. Although he attempted to compete in the sprint and grand prix events at Mandalika, physical weakness forced him to withdraw early, prompting subsequent medical evaluations that showed the damage was more severe than initially suspected.

He will undergo an operation in Milan, which sidelines him for the trip to Phillip Island and all remaining championship rounds.

Augusto Fernandez is scheduled to step in as his replacement for the final five events of the schedule. Razgatlioglu expressed profound disappointment at missing his outing at Phillip Island, noting that he consulted with physicians and confidants before arriving at this difficult decision regarding his long-term recovery.

He also extended his best wishes to Jack Miller for his upcoming home appearance.
