Top Phils-Braves storylines for win-or-go-home Game 3

The final elimination contest of the Wild Card round features an NL East showdown between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves on Thursday evening, broadcast on NBC and Peacock. The victor will advance to the next round to challenge the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Philadelphia relies heavily on veteran leadership, exemplified by pivotal late-inning home runs from Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper alongside an extra-inning knock from Alec Bohm to stave off elimination in the previous outing, whileAaron Nola and Zack Wheeler stand ready as primary pitching options. Meanwhile, Atlanta aims to navigate their pitching puzzle through various left-handed options including Ray Kerr, Brent Suter, Dylan Lee, and Dylan Dodd to counter the Phillies' powerful bats before turning to right-hander Grant Holmes.
