Toone comes into England squad as Bronze withdraws

Ella Toone has been recalled to the England setup for upcoming World Cup qualification fixtures against Greece after an initial omission. Manager Sarina Wiegman had previously left out both Toone and Chloe Kelly due to recent performance levels.

Meanwhile, defender Lucy Bronze has exited the squad to manage a minor injury picked up during weekend league play with West Ham. The team has traveled to Crete ahead of the opening leg in Heraklion, with the return fixture scheduled for Leicester.

The eventual victors will advance to face either Slovakia or Ukraine in November and December.
