The Atlanta Braves revealed their 26-man roster for the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, featuring the return of outfielder Lane Thomas. Thomas missed the previous round while recovering from an intercostal strain in his left side sustained on September 7, but he is now ready to contribute either as a left-handed fielding option against southpaw starters or off the bench.
Pitchers JR Ritchie and AJ Smith-Shawver also joined the active squad to provide relief depth, with Ritchie potentially available for a starting role if needed.
In order to accommodate these roster additions, Dominic Smith, Luke Williams, and DaShawn Keirsey were dropped from the group after participating in the wild card matchup. Overall, the organization opted to carry 13 pitchers for the upcoming five-game postseason series against the Dodgers.
