The Golden State Warriors are seeking trade options for Kristaps Porzingis as the 31-year-old center struggles with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. This nervous system condition causes chronic fatigue, brain fog, and dizziness, leading Porzingis to consider whether he will continue playing basketball.
The player recently issued public statements to deny rumors that he was suffering from HIV or AIDS.
Despite his health issues, Porzingis was a high-impact player last season, ranking 50th in Estimated Plus-Minus and nearly reaching the top 25 in LEBRON metrics. He appeared in 32 games across stints with the Atlanta Hawks and the Warriors, and previously helped the Boston Celtics win the 2024 title with his rim protection and perimeter shooting.
He also spent time with the Washington Wizards starting in 2022.
