The Rays Are Down, But Not Out, As The World Series Heads To Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Rays face a difficult path forward after dropping the second game of the World Series to the Milwaukee Brewers with a final score of 5-4. Despite an early offensive surge that included RBI singles from Chandler Simpson and Junior Caminero, followed by a two-run homer from Liam Hicks, the Rays could not maintain their 4-0 lead.

Starting pitcher Drew Rasmussen struggled to contain the Brewers, lasting only 3 2/3 innings while allowing three earned runs. The Brewers, who also saw Logan Henderson take the mound, now hold a 2-0 series lead as the competition shifts to Florida.
