
The New York Jets will be missing safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for their upcoming home opener on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed on Friday that the defensive back is sidelined due to a groin injury sustained early in their previous victory against Tennessee.
Along with Fitzpatrick, the team will be without several other injured players for the matchup against Jordan Love and the opposing offense. Edge rusher Joseph Ossai, rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., and running back Kene Nwangwu have also been ruled out for the contest.
