The Kansas City Chiefs secured a narrow 33-30 victory in extra time against the Indianapolis Colts after a back-and-forth contest during the second week of the season. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the offensive surge with 382 passing yards, while Travis Kelce crossed the century mark in receiving yards and running back Kenneth Walker III surpassed 100 yards on the ground.

Despite a shaky defensive pass rush that allowed the visitors to force the extra period, several players including Kahlil Benson, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith helped keep the pocket clean as head coach Andy Reid's squad improved to a 2-0 record.
