The Blackshirts Brought the Heat. Nebraska Football Brought Home a Road Win.

Nebraska advanced its unblemished record to four wins without a loss following an 18-point conference opening victory on the road against Michigan State. Former player DeMoine Adams joined the broadcast to discuss the defensive unit, which delivered six sacks and forced three turnovers while holding the Spartans to only 39 net rushing yards.

Offensively, quarterback Anthony Colandrea recorded 212 passing yards, threw two touchdowns, and rushed for an additional 66 yards while the line surrendered zero sacks. Running back Mekhi Nelson contributed 61 yards and a touchdown, and walk-on Vincent Genatone scored twice as the team improved to 4-0.
