The 2027 Formula 1 grid is beginning to take shape, with several teams locking in their driver lineups for next season. McLaren has secured Lando Norris through at least 2030, with options to extend, while Oscar Piastri remains under contract until the end of 2028.
Mercedes, despite not officially confirming their drivers beyond 2026, is expected to retain Kimi Räikkönen and George Russell, as both have multi-year deals with extension clauses. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has extended his contract to 2030, ensuring his dominance continues, while Isack Hadjar’s new deal keeps him alongside the Dutchman for 2027.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has signed a long-term extension, guaranteeing his presence well beyond 2027, and Lewis Hamilton will return for a third season with the team. Williams has finalized Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon for 2027, while Aston Martin will see Fernando Alonso return alongside Lance Stroll after much speculation.
Haas has confirmed Rafael Camara’s move from Esteban Ocon’s seat, with Ollie Bearman retaining his spot pending an option. Audi’s Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto are locked in for 2027, and Alpine has extended Pierre Gasly through 2028 while signing Franco Colapinto for next year.
Cadillac’s Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas remain under multi-year deals, ensuring stability for the American team. The only uncertainty lies with Racing Bulls, as neither Liam Lawson nor Arvid Lindblad has confirmed their status for 2027.
