To commemorate five decades of competition, the Williams Formula 1 team is launching a year-long celebration highlighted by a public exhibition in London. The W50 Live event, scheduled for February 11-28 at 26 Leake Street, will showcase six historic vehicles including the FW06, FW11B, FW14B, and FW19, alongside the record-holding FW25 and FW38.
The team also revealed that its 2027 challenger will be designated the FW50 to honor the anniversary of its 1977 debut, skipping the FW49 nomenclature. Beyond the exhibition, the team plans to offer fans input on a special livery for the British Grand Prix and will release commemorative merchandise, such as a themed Monopoly game.
Tickets for the London display become available to W Club members on October 26, with a general release on October 29.
