Teoscar Hernández's dramatic home run puts Dodgers up on Braves

During the opening contest of the National League Division Series, the Los Angeles offense broke a scoreless tie in the fourth frame against the Atlanta pitching staff. Relief pitcher Victor Mederos issued a leadoff walk to Freddie Freeman before surrendering a massive, two-run blast to left field off the bat of Teoscar Hernández.

The towering shot traveled 431 feet into the pavilion seats to give Los Angeles the initial advantage. Following another single by Kyle Tucker, the Atlanta right-hander was removed from the contest after recording just eleven total pitches.
