Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tarik Skubal became the unlikely star of the team’s NLDS-clinching victory over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night, despite not taking the mound in Game 4. His postgame celebration turned into a chaotic, beer-fueled spectacle during two live interviews, drawing attention away from the Dodgers’ hard-fought win.
In one segment with Dodgers reporter Kirsten Watson, Skubal eagerly anticipated the festivities before attempting to chug two beers at once—most of which spilled down his chest rather than reaching his mouth. The antics escalated in a follow-up interview with Dodgers SportsNet LA’s David Vassegh, where Skubal poured beer on himself and the surrounding crew, declaring, *“The game is speeding up on you,”* before drenching teammates behind him with another round.
The unscripted, high-energy moment went viral, showcasing Skubal’s unfiltered joy as the Dodgers advanced to the NLCS. His unorthodox celebration left teammates and fans alike laughing, hinting at even wilder displays if the Dodgers capture a World Series title.
