Tadej Pogačar has outlined his primary competitive targets for the upcoming 2027 season, focusing on the Tour de France, the World Championships, and the Vuelta a España. During a recent public appearance in Slovenia, the star cyclist dismissed prior speculation regarding his high-speed crash at the Vuelta, attributing the incident entirely to a large rock on the course.
Pogačar has already resumed training routines following a five-week recovery period from his injuries and is planning his preliminary schedule ahead of team management meetings in Abu Dhabi.
His return to competitive action is tentatively slated for late November at a charity event in Monaco. Although he briefly targeted a comeback earlier in the year for the European Championships, medical caution ultimately sidelined him for that event.
Following his upcoming travel commitments and strategy sessions with team officials, his official race calendar for the next year will be finalized and revealed at a December training camp.
