Sutton's predictions v Starsailor frontman James Walsh

Manchester City face a pivotal test at Anfield this weekend as they prepare to play Liverpool following their recent financial ruling. The Premier League leaders were found guilty of breaching 115 of the 115 financial regulations they were accused of, raising questions about the impact on their season.

Football expert Chris Sutton predicts the game will be a defining moment, with City’s players and supporters potentially showing resilience amid the controversy. Meanwhile, Sutton’s predictions for the season’s sixth round include a clash with Liverpool frontman James Walsh, who remains optimistic about his team’s potential under new manager Andoni Iraola.

Walsh, who supports Liverpool, highlighted the club’s recent signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, expressing confidence in their development while acknowledging the challenges of a new managerial era. He also noted Liverpool’s ambition to secure trophies like the FA Cup or Carabao Cup, even if the league title remains out of reach.
