Suryansh Shedge has stepped into the India A roster for the upcoming one-day fixtures against Australia A, taking the place of Hardik Pandya. Pandya was previously included in the team contingent pending fitness approval, but a fresh injury has forced him to withdraw from the three-match series starting on October 6.
This set of matches was intended to gauge Pandya's recovery and his capacity to deliver ten overs per fixture ahead of India's upcoming tour of New Zealand in November. Pandya has remained sidelined from the fifty-over format since the Champions Trophy final in March of the preceding year.
Additionally, Anukul Roy has joined the setup as a replacement for Naman Dhir, who transitioned into the national T20 squad for the West Indies series.
