Steelers may be without DK Metcalf vs. Buccaneers

The Pittsburgh Steelers' already depleted wide receiver corps could take another hit in Week 6, as DK Metcalf remains questionable with an illness and did not participate in Friday’s practice. With Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek sidelined from Week 5 injuries and Michael Pittman still on injured reserve, the Steelers are down three receivers heading into their matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Beyond the offensive line, safety DeShon Elliott’s season debut has been delayed despite his activation window opening, while defensive backs Jalen Ramsey and Jamel Dean also carry question marks after limited practice time. On the bright side, running back Rico Dowdle and defensive lineman Keeanu Benton appear likely to return after full practice participation, offering some stability to an otherwise shorthanded roster.
