Steelers aren't getting WR1 production from DK Metcalf – and haven't for a while
Pittsburgh wide receiver DK Metcalf is facing intense scrutiny after a string of disappointing outings to begin the regular season. Following a modest output in the opening game versus Atlanta, the veteran pass catcher struggled again with dropped passes and low yardage totals during a loss against New England.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and coach Mike McCarthy are among those dealing with the offensive stagnation, while critics evaluate the receiver's early target share and massive contract. The team will need to quickly reassess its passing game approach moving forward.
