Stanton, Grisham make Yankees' Wild Card Series roster

The New York Yankees have finalized their active roster for the upcoming American League Wild Card Series matchup against the Boston Red Sox. Slugger Giancarlo Stanton and outfielder Trent Grisham both secured spots on the squad.

However, manager Aaron Boone will have to proceed without Aaron Judge, who remains unavailable for the best-of-three postseason opener. Additionally, left-handed pitcher Ryan Weathers was left off the final postseason roster.

Game 1 of the series is scheduled to get underway tonight at 8 p.m. ET, with television coverage provided through NBC and Peacock.
