Spanish GP organisers promise Madring track changes following F1 criticism

Spanish Grand Prix officials intend to modify Madrid's Madring layout ahead of the 2027 race in an effort to facilitate more passing opportunities. Formula 1's governing body, the FIA, has already supplied organizers with suggested revisions for the course.

The 5.4-kilometer track, situated around the IFEMA exhibition center in Madrid, hosted its inaugural competitive event last weekend. Competitors and their crews offered positive feedback regarding the location's on-site amenities and the technical test presented by the layout.
