Soul Bowl postponed, rescheduled for Nov. 8 at Blue Wahoos Stadium

Organizers pushed back the thirty-fourth annual Soul Bowl youth football tournament, previously set for the weekend at Blue Wahoos Stadium, due to threatening weather predictions. The full slate of matches between the SYSA Tigers and the Bellview Packers will now take place on Sunday, November 8, avoiding a scheduling clash with the Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show at Naval Air Station-Pensacola.

This marks the initial appearance for Bellview in the competition, featuring six age-bracket contests starting before eight in the morning and wrapping up with the fourteen-and-under group late in the day. Spectators must adhere to stadium regulations, which include a clear bag mandate and prohibitions against outside refreshments, animals, and lawn seating, with passes currently on sale online.
