Sonny Styles, Kain Medrano at center of Commanders takeaway explosion

Washington head coach Dan Quinn finally had defensive turnovers to display on his office takeaway board after a narrow 33-31 triumph over Seattle on Sunday, following a drought during the first two contests of the season. First-round selection Sonny Styles spearheaded the defensive surge by forcing a fumble from Jadarian Price recovered by Tim Settle, intercepting a Sam Darnold pass that deflected off Settle, contributing five tackles, two passes defensed, and registering a quarterback hit.

Backup linebacker Kain Medrano also delivered a crucial fourth-quarter pick six, aided by a pre-snap adjustment called by Styles after stepping in following an injury to Leo Chenal.
