Somerset pair Overton & Luff take top PCA awards

Craig Overton and Sophie Luff secured the top accolades at the Professional Cricketers' Association ceremony. Overton excelled across multiple formats for Somerset, while Luff became the first non-international winner of the women's top prize in years following a prolific run-scoring summer that included success in The Hundred.

Additional honors went to Sonny Baker and Tilly Corteen-Coleman as young players of the year, alongside special recognition for Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont. Overton expressed immense gratitude for the peer-voted recognition after maintaining strong physical and mental fitness through a demanding schedule, and Luff credited her new opening role and team support for unlocking her best form.
