The 2026 Grant Thornton Invitational, a standout event in golf’s offseason, will return to Naples, Florida, from December 11–13, featuring a star-studded lineup of 16 mixed teams. Reigning champions Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak will defend their title after winning by three shots last year, while other returning pairs include Lydia Ko and Jason Day, who claimed the inaugural event in 2023, and Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp, the 2024 winners.
The tournament will showcase three unique formats over three days: a scramble on Day 1, alternate shot on Day 2, and a modified four-ball on Day 3, where players alternate balls mid-hole. Among the fresh pairings, World No.
1 Nelly Korda will team up with Michael Brennan, and rising talents Kiara Romero and Jackson Koivun—both former world No. 1 amateurs—will make their debut as pros.
Charley Hull, who played with Brennan last year, will miss this edition to attend Georgia Hall’s wedding, leaving her spot open for Brennan’s new pairing with Korda.
