SEE IT: Jalen Brunson brings Knicks teammates on stage during 'Saturday Night Live' monologue

Fresh off securing a historic championship title for the franchise after a 53-year wait, basketball star Jalen Brunson stepped into the spotlight as the host of the season premiere for Saturday Night Live. During his opening presentation at the venue, the Most Valuable Player poked fun at his own composed on-court demeanor and drew comparisons between his hosting duties and a typical fourth-quarter comeback victory.

The sports star then staged a mock media session from the stage, fielding humorous inquiries from his fellow squad members Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart. After Anunoby drew laughs by bringing up a crucial moment from the previous championship series, Brunson welcomed the entire roster up to join him for the closing moments of his introduction.
