Sean Payton: Offensive focus needs to be on details, not who calls plays

Following a two-win and two-loss start to the current campaign, the Denver offense currently sits twenty-seventh across the league in both total yardage and scoring output. This sluggish beginning has triggered external speculation regarding whether head coach Sean Payton might soon strip offensive coordinator Davis Webb of play-calling duties.

Addressing reporters at his mid-week media session, Payton deflected queries regarding a potential change in sideline responsibilities. Instead, the head coach emphasized that the group must sharpen its execution and master fundamental assignments to reach a championship standard.
