San Diego looks to keep momentum in NLDS return

After sweeping the Chicago Cubs by a combined score of 12-1 in the wild card round, the San Diego Padres advance to face the top-seeded Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Division Series. San Diego will send Robbie Ray to the mound for the opening game to face off against Jacob Misiorowski, who previously shut out the Friars over seven innings back in May.

The Padres will rely on sluggers like Gavin Sheets, who hit a crucial two-run home run in the previous series, as they attempt to secure a victory on the road before the matchup shifts back to their home stadium.
