During Sunday afternoon's home fixture against the Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints running back Travis Etienne was forced to exit prematurely in the third quarter after grabbing his left hamstring following a play toward the right boundary. Prior to his departure, the fifth-year running back contributed 57 rushing yards on 13 attempts alongside 13 receiving yards from a pair of receptions.
Following Etienne's exit, signal-caller Tyler Shough connected with tight end Noah Fant for a 16-yard touchdown strike on the very next play, extending the team's advantage to 27-16 and marking Shough's fourth touchdown pass of the contest.
