Ryan Day didn't blame Luke Fahey for Ohio State loss, but QB raises red flags

The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes suffered a decisive 30-18 defeat against the USC Trojans on Saturday night. Making his debut career start in place of injured regular Julian Sayin, true freshman signal-caller Luke Fahey struggled to secure a victory, prompting valid concerns among supporters.

Head coach Ryan Day refrained from placing the blame squarely on the young quarterback, pointing instead to wider team shortcomings as defensive struggles and special teams miscues derailed the road outing.
