Ahead of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, Rohit Sharma has begun his preparations in Mumbai. The veteran opener has been spotted training at the Mumbai Cricket Association Ground in BKC, where he also met with his Mumbai teammates during the Ranji Trophy match against Haryana.
Rohit's recent form has been impressive, accumulating 1,254 runs at an average of lapped 50.14 since 2025, including four centuries and six half-centuries across 26 innings. This follows a recent successful ODI series against the West Indies, where he finished with 225 runs.
India's rotation of leadership-based squads for the series in New Zealand will see Shubman Gill leading for the first three matches, and Shreyas Iyer taking over for the final two.
