Rohit Sharma's 'forever' response to Mumbai Indians chants after KKR offer wins hearts

During an appearance on his Sony program titled 'Family Time with Rohit Sharma', the former India captain reaffirmed his allegiance to Mumbai Indians. Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Abhishek Nayar jokingly pressed his longtime friend about wearing yellow as a nod toward Chennai Super Kings, while also suggesting Rohit would suit Kolkata's purple and gold attire.

When the studio crowd responded by loudly chanting for Mumbai, the six-time IPL champion—who skippered MI to five of those titles after arriving in 2011—quipped 'Forever' to dismiss recurring transfer speculation.

Having stepped away from both Test and T20 international cricket, Rohit currently competes exclusively in ODIs and is scheduled to return to the field on Sunday, September 27, for a three-game series against the West Indies. Although rumors previously suggested the national board might move on from him following an earlier tour of England, the BCCI dismissed those claims.
