The high-profile Six Kings Slam exhibition in Riyadh, a standout event in the Riyadh Season series, has been postponed due to escalating regional tensions. Originally scheduled for October 21–24, 2026, the tournament—featuring six of the world’s top tennis players—will now take place from December 27–30, 2026.
Organizers cited logistical challenges stemming from the ongoing conflict, including a recent attack at King Khalid International Airport, as the primary reason for the delay. The event, which has drawn significant attention with a $1.5 million appearance fee and a $6 million winner’s prize, was previously won twice by Jannik Sinner, though he would have been unable to participate this time due to an ongoing knee injury.
American player Learner Tien was set to replace him, but the postponement leaves his involvement uncertain for now.
