Philadelphia is adjusting its roster hierarchy under center ahead of the upcoming weekend fixture. Signal-caller Tanner McKee is stepping into the primary backup role behind starter Jalen Hurts for the matchup with the Rams.
This shift replaces the previous arrangement featuring Andy Dalton, who occupied the second spot for the prior three contests. Dalton previously entered Week 3 after Hurts exited briefly for concussion evaluations while the offense was advancing during the second period.
That appearance resulted in an interception by Chicago safety Dillon Thieneman within the scoring zone during a 27-7 defeat that brought the team record to two wins and one loss. Additional reporting indicates that both McKee and separate roster health concerns will result in both quarterbacks suiting up as active participants.
