Recap: Bruins start fast, fizzle out against Minnesota

Despite grabbing an early advantage through Tanner Jeannot during the opening stages, the Boston Bruins could not sustain their momentum against the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota seized control as the contest progressed, ultimately securing a 4-1 victory during their home opener.

Kirill Kaprizov sparked the hosts with a power-play score, while Quinn Hughes and Jared Spurgeon added crucial tallies to pull away. Goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped twenty-six shots for Boston in his first NHL appearance in over four years, while Jesper Wallstedt earned the win for Minnesota.
