The Baltimore Ravens' quarterback situation has taken a sharp turn after a pair of injuries in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Starting QB Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury on his first pass of the contest, while backup Tyler Huntley was ruled out with a suspected turf toe.
With both starters sidelined, third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano was forced into action and also left the game injured after taking hard hits. The Ravens now find themselves with limited options heading into Thursday’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as Jackson will miss at least four more games following surgery on his thumb.
In response to the crisis, the team has reportedly signed UFL quarterback Austin Reed to bolster their depth chart and provide stability at the position.
