Ravens put Jovaughn Gwyn, Ethan Pocic on IR

Baltimore's center depth took a severe hit over the weekend when Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic both suffered major injuries during Sunday's victory, prompting team management to place the pair on the injured reserve list ahead of the weekend. Gwyn sustained a broken fibula, and Pocic went down with a knee issue after stepping in to replace him.

Because Danny Pinter was already sidelined on the reserve list, rookie first-rounder Vega Ioane took over snapping duties during the contest and is slated to anchor the position for the upcoming matchup against Tennessee. Andrew Vorhees slid over to fill Ioane's previous spot at right guard.

To help replenish depth, the franchise promoted Kyle Hergel from the practice squad following his recent signing, reuniting him with his former Chicago offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.
