Ravens' Zay Flowers exits stellar opener against Colts with hamstring injury

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers put together a historic opening half in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts before being designated as questionable to return due to a hamstring ailment. During the first two quarters, Flowers hauled in five receptions totaling 150 yards, a career-best mark highlighted by a 54-yard scoring strike from Lamar Jackson to extend Baltimore's advantage to 21-6.

Earlier in the contest, a 49-yard connection between Jackson and Flowers set up a five-yard touchdown scamper by the quarterback to claim an initial 7-6 edge.

The 150-yard output marked Flowers' 10th career contest surpassing the century mark, matching Mark Andrews for the highest tally in franchise history. Flowers had previously participated fully during Friday's practice session while managing the hamstring issue before being cleared for the road matchup.
