Ranking the Rockies, 2026: No. 52, Edouard Julien

The Colorado Rockies have published the 52nd entry in their ongoing retrospective series examining the roster contributors from the 2026 campaign, focusing on infielder Edouard Julien and his negative one point zero rWAR. Acquired in a late January trade with the Minnesota Twins that also brought over Pierson Ohl, Julien initially provided a major spark after arriving in Denver.

Following a stellar spring training and a blazing April where he batted over three hundred out of the leadoff spot, the veteran hitter suffered a catastrophic collapse in May that included a brutal twelve-game hitless drought and a drastic slide to the bottom of the batting order.
