Ranji Trophy 2026-27: Tamil Nadu hopes to keep uptick in form on its visit to Chandigarh

After a difficult start to the Ranji Trophy season in Jaipur, Tamil Nadu has successfully turned its campaign around with consecutive home victories against Uttarakhand and Railways. Currently holding second place in Elite Group D with 14 points, the team is traveling to face seventh-placed Chandigarh.

This upcoming fourth-round match serves as the final fixture for both squads before the competition pauses for white-ball tournaments. Head coach Yo Mahesh emphasized that his side remains focused on securing a third straight win, though he acknowledged that the team may need to adjust its strategy depending on the nature of the pitch.

Chandigarh, led by Manan Vohra, is still searching for its first victory of the season and faces a difficult task to improve its standing.
