"Similar Feeling to Aston Villa" - Enzo Maresca Issues Manchester City Dressing Room Insight After Third Loss in Six Games

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca is navigating a difficult stretch after his squad suffered three losses in their last six matches across all competitions. Following a recent defeat to Brighton, Maresca noted that the atmosphere in the dressing room mirrors the disappointment felt after a previous loss to Aston Villa.

The manager emphasized that while the team is frustrated by the lack of clinical finishing, they are focused on moving forward to rectify their form. This recent setback marks the first time the club has endured consecutive league losses since August 2025.

Brighton secured the victory through an early goal from Yasin Ayari, marking their first-ever league win at this specific stadium. The result leaves City vulnerable at the top of the table, with Arsenal positioned to overtake them depending on their upcoming match against Liverpool.
