Ranji Trophy 2026/27: Delhi, Services desperate for outright win on fresh pitch

Delhi and Services are preparing for a crucial Ranji Trophy encounter at the Palam A ground, with both sides seeking a victory to bolster their standing in Group C. Delhi enters the match following a mixed start to the season, including a heavy defeat to Bengal, a high-scoring draw against Gujarat, and a rain-interrupted stalemate with Jharkhand, while Ayush Badoni has been a standout performer with 535 runs.

Services, led by Rajat Paliwal, has struggled to find momentum, securing only a single point from three matches due to weather disruptions. Both teams are looking to capitalize on a fresh, potentially unpredictable pitch to secure a necessary outright win.
