Day after: Final thoughts on Notre Dame win over Navy with Miami next

Following a slow start on Saturday afternoon, Notre Dame secured a 35-13 victory over Navy to improve its record to 7-1 on the season. The squad now looks ahead to a high-profile matchup at home against Miami, which will feature a visit from ESPN's College GameDay.

Despite the triumph, the team faces mounting injury concerns on defense, notably losing senior captain Drayk Bowen for multiple weeks, alongside other starters such as Leonard Moore. On a brighter note, Jerome Bettis Jr.

delivered a breakout performance with six receptions for 78 yards and his first career touchdown, bolstering the passing attack for quarterback CJ Carr.
