Rangers eliminated from playoff race with loss to Twins

Texas concluded its campaign on Sunday with a 6-4 defeat against Minnesota, officially locking the squad out of the postseason bracket. The final game required both a victory over the Twins and a loss by Houston to capture the division, but the roster ultimately fell short.

MacKenzie Gore started the matchup on the mound before handing duties over to the bullpen, while the batting order struggled early against Dean Kremer. Elias Diaz, Danny Jansen, and Corey Seager provided the lone run-scoring hits via home runs, though the team had to play without injured contributors Josh Jung and Joc Pederson.
