Rams believe Myles Garrett will only miss the minimum 4 games

The Los Angeles Rams are placing defensive end Myles Garrett on injured reserve following an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. The former Cleveland Browns standout and Texas A&M product is anticipated to sit out the mandatory four-game threshold rather than facing a longer timeline away from action.

Garrett struggled with knee troubles that limited his participation throughout training camp, leaving him short of ideal playing conditioning entering the regular season.

Those physical limitations proved costly during his debut with Los Angeles, where he made little impact throughout a 27-7 Week 1 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers.
