Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who has missed the last two contests due to a back issue, indicated on Friday that he is fully prepared to take the field for Monday night's matchup against the Buffalo Bills. The 35-year-old, a three-time NFL defensive player of the year who recently returned from retirement, reported feeling physically strong and free of the exhaustion he previously feared, crediting the team's rotational strategy for his recovery.
Donald's absence did not hinder the Rams' defensive performance in their recent 24-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, where the unit recorded four sacks on quarterback Jalen Hurts. Edge rusher Byron Young led the effort with 2.5 sacks, while linemen Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, and Poona Ford contributed to key stops.
Although Donald praised his teammates' ability to battle without him, the Rams are aiming to eventually field their entire pass-rushing group, including Myles Garrett, who remains on injured reserve following knee surgery and is eligible to return after the upcoming game.
